Kia has recently added five new versions to its popular Seltos model, featuring a dynamic six-speed manual transmission and powered by a diesel engine. These variants are priced from Rs 11,99,900 to Rs 18,27,900 (ex-showroom nationwide). With the introduction of the 1.5l CRDi VGT Diesel variants HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, and HTX+ the total number of options in the Seltos lineup has expanded to 24.
Since its launch in July 2023, the New Seltos has enjoyed significant success, with sales reaching an impressive 65,000 units, according to the company.
Key features of the Kia Seltos Diesel include a total of 32 safety features, with 15 high-safety features standard across the entire range. Positioned as a mid-SUV, the Seltos is equipped with premium features such as a dual-screen panoramic display featuring a 26.04 cm Full Digital Cluster and a 26.03 cm HD Touchscreen Navigation system.

Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales and Business Strategy Officer at Kia India, emphasized the company’s commitment to offering choices to consumers. He stated, “We always believe in empowering consumers with choices when it comes to the drive experience. A lot of customers wanted to experience the joy of shifting gears, and hence, we are introducing a 6-speed manual transmission in 5 Seltos diesel variants for true enthusiasts who love to have full control on the road.”
Sohn added that this new addition would further strengthen the Seltos’ positioning as the smartest, safest driving experience.
